Data-driven CQI Tools
Clinical Intelligence (CI) combines the
power of evidence-based practice, knowledge management and
clinical decision support with technology to drive healthcare
and clinical outcomes to a new level. Identifying
clinically relevant data enables changes in treatment patterns
and quality of care improvement. As performance measurement
continues to evolve, more concise standards are
needed to define the types of measures that are
most appropriate to improve quality and patient safety.
Valid and reliable methods for the collection,
analysis, and reporting of data is critical.
CI has developed a comprehensive Tool Box to help individualize
the needs of each hospital client.
Chances
are hospitals have access to their own data, but hospitals
need more than numbers. They need accurate and useful data
supported with knowledgeable interpretation. That's what CI
does best; we go beyond the numbers to deliver insight.
CI offers tools that allow us to ask the right questions
and
the support to make the right decisions.
The
purpose of CI's Guidelines Acceptance Program
(GAP) is to facilitate hospital clients with the
development of a clinical guidelines program to help translate
evidence into practice, reduce variation in physician practice
patterns, engender physician acceptance and support, create
ongoing dialogue between physicians and hospital staff, and
improve quality of clinical care. CI
supports data management processes to include objective and
subjective prioritization matrices, opportunity identification,
routine trending and reporting of selected clinical measures.
Analytics
